Dear Tango Enthusiasts,
We are thrilled to invite you to a very special tango event, where we will have the honor of welcoming two exceptional guests: Murat Erdemsel and Eleonora Kalganova!
A year has passed since their last visit, and we couldn’t be happier to have them back with us. Their passion for tango, their elegant, witty, and professional manner, as well as their unparalleled expertise, have long won our hearts. This time, they promise another weekend full of inspiring moments and unforgettable experiences.
Look forward to 9 exciting workshops with Murat and Eleonora, including Eleonora’s famous technique workshops that have captivated so many dancers, and Murat’s specialty: workshops on musicality.
The weekend kicks off on Friday with our "Meet and Greet," where you can get to know or reconnect with them in a relaxed atmosphere. There will be delicious homemade pasta and salad, perfect for our out-of-town guests – of course, all Hannoverans are also warmly welcome! For catering purposes, we kindly ask for prior registration.
The weekend has so much more to offer: workshops, milongas, live music, and a show! The milongas will be accompanied by DJ Seba and DJ Nick.

Master your Dance. This workshop focuses on techniques for executing turns and rotations safely and elegantly on crowded dance floors. With precise tips on axis, dynamics, and lead, you will dance harmoniously and considerately at any milonga.

Structure and dynamics in the music of Francisco Canaro. How can you interpret and express the characteristic phrases and variations of his compositions through dance? Perfect for refining your dance style musically and creating a deeper connection to the music.

Mindful posture and intentional lead create a deeper connection in the dance. Through subtle communication and sensitivity in contact with your partners, you can establish a stronger emotional and physical connection in tango.
Boleos in harmony with the music. Interpret rhythm and melody through movement. Use the musicality of tango to execute boleos with greater expression and precision. This workshop helps you integrate boleos more fluidly and musically into your dance. It is highly recommended to attend WS 7 with Eleonora for boleos.

Our Maestros
Murat Erdemsel & Eleonora Kalganova
Murat Erdemsel
Murat's tango journey began in 1998 in Istanbul. Born in Turkey with Italian and Croatian roots, he studied art before falling in love with tango. After graduating, he moved to the USA, where he studied art at George Washington University, taught tango, and organized milongas. Later, he worked in New York, toured across the USA and Europe, taught at festivals, and gave lectures.
Murat then moved to Europe, worked with various partners, and toured worldwide. Today, he lives in Switzerland, teaches tango, gives lectures, and participates in a dance visualization project. His passion for traveling, teaching, and inspiring remains unwavering.

Eleonora Kalganova
Eleonora Kalganova has been a dance artist and teacher in Argentine Tango since 2009. Raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she studied various dance styles such as ballet, folklore, and modern dance. After graduating from the State Dance Academy, she became a solo dancer at the Alisher-Navoi Theater.
With her solid training, Eleonora developed her unique "Flow" style in tango, focusing on improvisation, communication, and creative freedom. She encourages her students to discover new ways of nonverbal connection and to develop a relaxed, dynamic style.
Eleonora lives in New Jersey, travels internationally for workshops and performances, and remains an enthusiastic learner of both tango and life.
With her solid training, Eleonora developed her unique "Flow" style in tango, focusing on improvisation, communication, and creative freedom. She encourages her students to discover new ways of nonverbal connection and to develop a relaxed, dynamic style.

We look forward to structured and high-quality classes, but we also want to have time for dancing and celebrating. Our talented and experienced DJ Seba and DJ Nick, who has already performed at milongas and festivals, will surely find the right tandas so that we can all dance until late into the night.
